I see with what I am
and journey a simple way
through sacred space
in granted time
I walk a pilgrimage,
sun point in shaded valley
on fawn mushrooms
and lichen sphere
Maize colored mandalas
on trains going nowhere
rusted nail spikes
round twisted wire
Upward wings of ravens
the wind waits on still stone
trees silently
stand, listening
I walk with younger eyes
hands held by my grandchildren
up steep stone steps
toward the sky
